The shitty New York Post did run a picture and blamed two innocent people for the Boston marathon bombing. But they’re propaganda, not media. But your point is a good one.

This story is horrific. I’ll wait for hard into and not Twitter bullshit.

This is false. The twitter account was created this month and the account has been posting nothing but memes and joke responses to comments on the original post.

Just today, I told my wife that the crazy drivers leaving downtown via the interstate on Friday afternoon are rivaled only by the 11:45 am exodus from church services. In a span of 2 minutes I was nearly sideswiped and t-boned.

In fairness to you, the media was all over the nonsense that Twitter/Reddit put out there. Everyone had blame. It just wasn’t only the media’s doing.

Did the state legislature pass one of those laws protecting drivers who run over protesters? If so, I wonder if it's so poorly worded by whichever group astroturfed it that the driver might be able to use it as a defense.

Oh, no argument. NY Post was the only one, to my knowledge, to run it on the cover. And rightfully got their asses sued off for it.

But it was a shitshow at other outlets too.

As much a tool as Clint Eastwood is, "Richard Jewell" was an excellent movie.

The Netflix series was just as good and I think avoided some of the problematic institutions about the reporter.

I deleted the original post. You all can do what you want with the backlash. I might even have some suggestions. :)
