Trump is the greatest communicator the United States of America has ever known, in the worst kind of way.

 

Oh, and while I think about it:

 

In all fairness, most of the GOP would have continued to fail pre-kindergarten.

 

One of the things I marvel at is the fact he spent all those years on TV and still can't read a cue card.

His TelePrompter readings are worse.

I often wonder what his fans think they're hearing when he speaks.

 

In '24, Democrats will give new meaning to the term "attack ad" when their anti-Trump ads feature the physical, literal attack on our government he fomented.

 

For many of his cult, that's a feature, not a bug - and trouble for the rest of us.

 

He speaks exactly like every blowhard working class baby boomer after three drinks. And that’s the appeal. It may drive us nuts that that appeals to the average white voter, but the vote totals don’t lie.

Good news libs, we’re winning the War on Christmas.

 

They lie a little.

Trump got less than 47 percent of the vote both times. That's worse than Romney and Kerry. Kerry's vote percentage was more than two points higher than Trump's '16 Moscowpalooza (48.3 to 46.1).

 

I wonder how much of this effect was generated by coming right after Obama - a great traditional/conventional political speaker.
