FWIW, gas is down more than 30 cents in my area over the past couple of weeks.

Puting aside that the SEC would be investing any company under the circumstances, what they are "investigating" is a bullshit requirement. But given that it is the law. ... Apparently Partick Orlando, the founder of DWAC, met with Trump a half a year before DWAC's listing. If the two sat down and came up with a plan to take Trump's company public via a SPAC, and DWAC didn't disclose that info publicly. ... it's a violation of security's law. I'm actually not sure if Trump would be the guilty party, as with lots of things related to Trump, it may be the stooge trying to do business with Trump who gets himself in trouble.

The funniest part of this whole thing to me, when the SPAC was announced, was that Orlando and DWAC are based out of. ... Wuhan, China!

It’s weird how rising gas prices get way more coverage than falling gas prices.

That's because while the price of gas nationally is down 9 or 10 cents in the last month. ... it's still up more than a dollar from a year ago. It's going to have to be a more dramatic drop and more lasting before it becomes more noticeable. As an aside, the price of crude oil was falling during that period. ... it's up between 4.5 and 5 percent in the last 24 hours, taking it above $72 again after it had dropped below $70.
