The tweet you linked to doesn’t address what Will actually wrote in the Op Ed. But he’s hardly the first person to point out —out loud nonetheless — that that NY Times series was pushing a narrative that is historically inaccurate to some degree.

Home of the Savage Storm. Rodman had some unflattering things to say about Durant in his autobiography.

“The FBI wanted me to gather as much information about these individuals and confirm their identities,” Moore said of law enforcement officers who were active members of or working with the klan.
“From where I sat, with the intelligence laid out, I can tell you that none of these agencies have any control over any of it. It is more prevalent and consequential than any of them are willing to admit.”

A "trial outcome" for the Kim Potter case is expected within the hour.

Given that nomenclature, we're probably looking at a very unsurprising hung jury. It seemed impossible to think there wasn't at least one person on the jury who was not going to send a white cop who clearly has serious regrets over the incident to prison for what appears to be a terrible mistake. And yet on the flip side, the kid is dead and we know she shot him so it's not like there was a big opening for a not guilty verdict either.

EDIT: Apparently MPR guy says that "trial outcome" is just the agreed term and confirmed that it is a verdict.

I think it could be possible that they are hung on first-degree manslaughter but come in with a guilty on the second-degree charge.

EDIT: So I take that back. They need to come to a unamimous decision on both charges. The first-degree charge may have been a mistake.

    Guilty on both counts.

UPChip clearly didn’t see this one coming. Clearly wasn’t prepared that white people can see evidence of a crime by a white person and find them
    Guilty. Oh my.
