Well, it's not really like that at all, IMO, in terms of the analogy.

But there's absolutely an a installation aspect to solar and wind. And, with wind, you need drivers to haul the turbines and blades. And you have manufacturing plants - that probably aren't powered by wind - making the stuff.

A lot of energy goes into creating clean energy. And once it's "up" it'll take a lot of energy and people to maintain it. From a manpower perspective, it's not efficient at all.

 

I believe it’s called the fuck you principle.

The thing is that there are no/very few adults in the GOP who denounce this type of talk. I’ve guessing that at least 65% of the house and senate members believe that what he is saying is ridiculous and dangerous. But they don’t have the balls to ever speak up because they are afraid they won’t be re-elected.
