Commercials we love

Yep. You ALWAYS base the purchase of a new work truck on having a step in the tailgate. What about the motor, you idiot. The damn truck is going to break down before you drive three blocks, but at least you've got that damn tailgate.

 

Chevy seems to have ditched the focus group chode and that is sufficient for me this year.

 

I don't know if I necessarily love the ads, but seeing the names Subway has hired for their latest campaign, Curry, Brady, Serena, Barkley among others makes me notice. Also think this is impressive as well...

I love when they reference that Brady doesn't eat bread.

 

Sure its Walmart, but their Christmas ad is really good - like "are those really actors? good." The craziness, the "realness" of the situations, the "energy." Whoever directed them deserves a Clio or whatever they're handing out these days. Also - figure it was shot in September or October - so extra bonus.

How the hell does Halle Berry look so good as Cleopatra in the Caesars Sportsbook commercials? She’s 55. Fifty-freaking-five.

 

I had no idea that was Halle Berry.

How much money do the sports books have? Enough to hire Halle Berry for a small part in a commercial and then cover her in a wig and makeup so you don’t even know it’s her.

 

I find it kind of fascinating that companies are hiring Cooper Manning to star in their commercials.

 

I thought Cleopatra was hotter than hell. I wondered who it was. Looks like Hallie Berry. No way. WOW!!!

 

I googled it today because I figured it had to be someone because they have name actors in the other parts, I just couldn't out who it was.
