Am I the only poster here who doesn't care about watching old games? For one thing, the pre-HD video makes most if it unwatchable. For another it's pointless and boring.

I would like to watch NFL/AFL games from the late 60s and early 70s, which is when I first really got into pro football

I don’t even want to watch replays of last week’s action.

The only thing I wanna see from the 70s and 80s is porno flicks … back when plot mattered!

  7. MLB Network has shown nothing but old games — and a few movies — since the lockout began a few weeks ago. I have probably watched two hours worth of MLBN programming in that time, as opposed to the near-24/7 I watch it the rest of the year.

I've posted this before, but I enjoyed the hell out watching this - since I was at the game. So many great players on the field. And George Blanda!. The copy is very clean - don't know how many other masters he has.

I want to believe I'd settle in for a full Madden/Summerall NFC East game like it was 1984 again in the living room with my Dad, but on YouTube I'm out after two minutes. The concept beats the reality.

I like watching the final moments of tense, great games, regardless of the sport. I think there could be some money in a "final 30-minutes" type of show. You could even spice it up by bringing in participants to replace the old audio, and to provide new commentary tracks for it.

No interest in watching old games. Maybe 20 years ago when there was no other way to see them and no social media or streaming, less things to occupy my time. The one thing I’d rewatch now are old HBO Real Sports episodes, from 10+ years ago, in large part because I can’t. I don’t believe they live anywhere. Or old Rinaldi profiles from GameDay.
