Replying to my own message. The school board, with 2 anti-maskers absent, voted to reinstitute the mask policy when schools start up again next Monday. The meeting was out of control, news reports say people were yelling and screaming at the board from the start even though there was no public comment period. And police briefly cleared the room, but had to let people back in to satisfy the state's open records law.
