Commercials we love

Upfront money might be down, but I bet they make more on the back end.

 

I typically Hate the Limu Emu and Doug commercials, but the one where he tries to become Spider Man is pretty funny.

 

I wonder what the casting call was like for the current run of T-Mobile commercials. "We need the ugliest group of people we can find. Now go find 'em."

 

I thought that post over on the Jobs board looked out of place ...

 

Damnit I missed my calling.

 

I enjoy the Progressive "don't become your parents" ads with Dr. Rick, I just wish they would make some new ones. There's a treasure chest of material there.

 

Anybody else think Mrs. Claus in the Mercedes ad looks like the late KT Oslin?

 

The snaggle-toothed guy on the left is a z-list comedian I vaguely recognize. I sorta assumed the rest of the misfit toys probably have large social media followings like I assume he does.

I base this assumption on the fact the “awkward” mental health psa now airing everywhere features SoMe influencers, but you’d only know it if you recognize them (or, like me, you Googled a few after discovering their full names are displayed in the closed captioning.)
