First song that leapt into my head before I opened the thread. Trapped in an abusive relationship with Phil for so long, I hope she at last finds peace.

She should've had him bumped off. God knows 17 year old me would've done it for a smile, let alone a kiss.

I miss late night talk show musical appearances like this. So basic, yet so good.

And Paul Shafer banging keys and loving it.

She did a lot of work with Southside Johnny later in her career.

When I'm in the car, "Be My Baby" is one of those songs that gets me to turn up the volume louder than it needs to be and sing along.

    RIP.

Steve Van Zandt says that when the E Street Band was on the verge of breaking up post Born to Run because they had no money, he arranged with a mutual producer for them to back her up on her cover of Say Goodbye to Hollywood, which kept the group together. she became part of the Stevie/Southside universe ever since.

He also said that they dated briefly and that turned into an unlikeable monster when she started to drink.
