The Seattle Times is seeking a sports reporter to cover the Seattle Kraken, NHL and other topics as needed. This person will work with The Seattle Times’ lead Kraken/NHL reporter in one of America’s most vibrant sports cities and regions. Successful applicants will be proven digital and print journalists who are equally adept at spot news, analysis, storytelling and enterprise. This role calls for self-starters who possess strong news judgment and excellent verbal, analytic and writing skills, along with the ability to work all stories under pressure within assigned deadlines.

Mentioned many times before, working for Paul is a very good thing. You will grow and get better. Huge seal of approval.

Where's Marisa Ingemi? She hasn't tweeted in a while and now this job is posted...

Rest of us wondering why you fired Marisa, Paul.

“Fired without warning.” LOL. I’m sure her daily Twitter arson did her no favors. Tends to wear out her welcome quick. Time bomb.

I have zero belief that she has no idea at all why she was fired.

Also, Paul would be an absolute idiot - and probably be next in line to be fired - if he came on here, Twitter or anywhere else in public and talked about why she was fired

If someone hired her w/o knowing about her Twitter presence and then was taken aback by her Twitter presence--which is nowhere near as omnipresent nor as idiotic as the Twitter presences of some well-known hockey writers who discuss everything on Twitter except actual hockey--than that's incompetent and a fireable offense itself.

And here we come back again to demanding accountability and transparency about everyone and everything except our own internal workings. I'm sure Paul's a big boy. If he's soliciting applications to replace the writer who moved across the country eight months ago for the gig, he can handle answering some questions from those who might want some assurances it's a good idea to consider uprooting for this position.
