Running Book of Boba Fett Thread

I watched the finale tonight. Some parts stretch the suspension of disbelief a bit far for my taste, but I found it entertaining. The first six episodes felt discombobulated, but most of what they set up paid off in one way or another. There was one action by a character that seemed very odd to me, but I don't want to get into that yet because it spoils an important plot point.

I doubt I would ever go back and watch the entire series again, but perhaps the final three episodes.

 

Watched the final episode - I'd give the series a C+, B-. Perfectly enjoyable little show. I don't really think we need another series focused on Tatooine, although I know more is coming.

Oddly, it would be cool if S'Wars cribbed a bit from S'Trek - I'd be into a show where MANDO or someone similar is exploring planets on the edge of "known" space, for example. Or, let's get into some homeworlds or cultures we haven't explored thoroughly. That's part of what made the early portions of MANDO S1 and S2 great. Give me a show set on the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk!

 

That has been tried before.

 

This is pretty much where I landed. I was entertained. The last three episodes were great, great and good.

I’d watch a second season but don’t know if it needs a second season.

Obi-Wan up next in May. Huge expectations that will be tough to live up to. Kinda like the Solo movie. Which I thought was meh at first but maybe got a bad rap. It grew on me.

Boba Fett was a good Mando series

 

It was. And I'm OK with that. I think I said this before, but I'm not gonna complain about Mando Season 1.5.

 

I'm not complaining about that, either. I am making fun of it. I also didn't think much of the first part of the season.
