The 2022 running NASCAR, IMSA & other racing things thread

The coin folk say they had a two-year deal with Brandon Brown for eight figures. So he was supposed to get $5 million per, at least — presumably without having to give a cut to someone else for finding the deal. I didn’t know Busch Series sponsorships cost $5 million a year. So I see why the deal was tempting. But a guy who went to college for marketing, like Brandon Brown did, should’ve been able to smell the bullshit from Turn 1 at Talladega.

 

Didn’t expect this at all.

 

$10 million over 3 years for 7 women? That's such a lowball deal Michael Cohen must have negotiated it for Busch.

 

Even if it’s just help with personal expenses, it helps remove one barrier to racing. If it involves car placement, maybe it gets those women into better rides.

 

Encouraging that A-B is dropping more cash into NASCAR. They’re pushing Busch, but I do wish a red Bud car was still out there.

 

No twisted sisters this time around.

 

Great initiative, but "Accelerate Her" sounds like a NASCAR-themed porno.
