Trump Cruz and Hawley have volunteered to go
    Ukraine to fight for freedom.
if NATO intends to enforce a no fly zone over Ukraine they may as well put a few armored divisions, infantry and air cav in country as well. Russia will respond with air attacks over Berlin, Oslo and Warsaw.

In a weird way, that speaks to how good the United States' armed forces really are.
In terms of actually fighting another organized army, we defeated Iraq in a week in 1991, and less than a month in 2003. We routed the Taliban in less than a month in 2001. In those three wars combined — again, just the initial combat operations and not the years of occupation and insurgency that followed — we lost approximately 300 people. Even the 15-20 years that followed had pretty light casualties when you average it out over how long we were there. There were battles in WWI and WWII that had as many casualties in a single day or week as we had in our entire time fighting those three wars combined.

Meanwhile, the Russians are five days into their Ukrainian war. They're taking heavy casualties and having all kinds of logistical issues, but still closing in on Kyiv and some other key objectives. There's a very good chance they'll still win this war relatively quickly through superior resources and sheer brute force. And everyone is couching it as an utter debacle for their military because they haven't finished it yet.

Maybe we've made it look too easy and made people forget how brutal and long most wars really are.

I guess we'll know tomorrow how accurate this is. No good way to tell.

So, do you realize that isn't remotely the same as what former President Trump did, mostly because the motivation was so different, or do you have those Republican blinders on?

Also, this is known. It wasn't Joe Biden making the decision he's talking about on this clip It was what he was told to do. And they pushed out the corrupt prosecutor.
