If Russia has fired its first echelon troops and didn't have logistics infrastructure and a plan in place, this is going to a) last a while (probably eventually ending in Russian victory) and b) go down as one of the worst military campaigns of all time, even if they eventually win.

Just a total repudiation of Russian doctrine, and should probably cause a re-examination of what we thought hypothetical WWIII would have looked like in Europe during the 70s and 80s. THIS is the peak of Russian sustainment efforts?

They can take territory -- they have a lot of weaponry and a large force -- but they can't going to win. That's a people that is not going to stop fighting an occupation.

I'm not even convinced of that, in so much as a bunch of tanks with no gas is net effective the same as no tanks.

It's my pessimistic guess that Putin will use another old Soviet policy and forcibly relocate millions of Ukrainians deep in central Asia somewhere, replacing them with ethnic Russians.

There are a bunch of shows on RT that are produced by Ora Media, which was founded by Carlos Slim and Larry King, so he would have something to do after CNN. Ora licenses a bunch of shows to RT, including that Miller show and shows by Jesse Ventura and William Shatner. I'll bet they pull the plugs on the Ventura and Shatner shows too.

Which I've thought might happen in the U.S. in needed swing states courtesy of the megalomaniacal billionaires who can afford to play that game.
