    Xi Jinping doesn't care about economic domination. He's interested in maintaining, and strengthening, his autocracy. He has continually thrown economic liberalization that was benefitting the country out the window, because it was starting to come at the expense of his control and his grip on power.

    Um..I missed it? Geez. What is with people?

    As you thought, I'm sure, that convoy just seemed to be begging to be hit.

    And maybe the limited munitions need to be made not so limited. Perhaps this is where the U.S. could do something significant, and visibly noticeable. Wouldn't be useful to be able to take out the rocket launchers, AND the tank convoy?

    If you take 10 seconds to think about it rationally, of course you're right.
    But the ones with the keys always think they can win that kind of war. We wouldn't have gotten to this point otherwise.

    Asking price for Chelsea is 4 billion pounds. Whatever the final sale price, it'll be in good old London, in good old useable British currency, where it can remain until, Abramovich hopes, things blow over.
