The invasion doing a fine job of pushing countries into the EU sphere.

Did they pull the plug on RT America since everyone dropped it or since the Russians are going broke?

I agree, and get that. But if there's no other choice...well, that's the situation. I've also read multiple times that the Ukrainians were always actually among the best soldiers/military personnel in Russia/eastern Europe. Perhaps their skills/talents would stand them in good stead if/when it comes to flying fighter jets. And again, if that's what you have to do, well, people can sometimes do extraordinary things when they have to.

Well Russia does seem to be doing a good job of hurling missiles into non-military neighborhoods.

    What vile pieces of shit.

Even if they weren't besieged they are comically low on supplies. Many reports of hunger in the ranks. Who preps an army to fight this kind of campaign and doesn't anticipate that it will need to be fed and provided comfort of warmth? As stated the other day, the biggest con of all was that 5-foot-5 Putin somehow is Vulcan in a war theater. Well done to all who pulled that off, including our national media and political class.

Flight training, maintenance training, spare parts, appropriate weapon supplies.

That sort of thing is about to really hurt Russia. Boeing and other aircraft manufacturers who have sold to Russia have pulled their tech reps, and all the maintenance manuals to keep them running are supplied online. Access to those has been cut off, as have spare parts.

They didn't prep for a campaign. They prepped for a special ops strike, perhaps combined with "much of the population will welcome you." They thought this would be a matter of a quick run to Kyiv, capture/kill/replace the government, and boom. new puppet state.

If this were a proper blitzkrieg strike to take the country, there would have been three waves going in one behind another. The first to break through, secure bridges and road junctions to keep the advance moving, leaving a lot of resistance behind. Second wave overwhelms the resistance. Third wave is occupying and holding ground.

They had one wave, and it wasn't particularly effective. The push from the south is doing a bit better, but overall they're badly stalled and well behind where the plan said they should be.

Take a look at what they did in Syria. They still haven't really taken the gloves off. It could be a whole lot worse, not to say that what's happening isn't bad.
