Happiest days of a boat owner's life: When he buys the boat, and when he sells the boat.

To bring the thread back to Covid, I was just in Whole Foods and while not 100%, mask-wearing was very prevalent, both for shoppers and employees.

I know from attempting to sell my father's fishing boat that they depreciate 'very strongly' almost from the moment the thing gets put in the water.

Got close to nothing for it.

I was in Publix here today. I'd say that two out of three people I saw were wearing masks.

My county just moved from red to yellow today, so I’m done wearing masks unless a place requests it. Sorry if it costs me my cool kids card.

My parents have had an above-ground pool for 30+years. They’ve always drained out about half the water from the pool, put some chemicals in, and put a heavy cover with a blow-up plastic “pillow” tied in the middle because of ice. We live in the Northeast.

I'd say half of the people on the buses I was on yesterday were unmasked in London. Mind you, they still have signs telling you to wear them on public transport and the buses were way more packed than usual due to the transit strike closing the Underground.
