It's more than one cable news station, and they've been at it a lot longer than "a few months."

Both Alexander Vindman, who's been right on a lot of things, and Ukraine's US ambassador said today Russia has 11,000 KIA in the war's first 9 days.

The Allies lost 4,414 on D-Day.

The U.S. has lost around 8,000 in all of its various conflicts and deployments combined since Vietnam. That includes both Gulf Wars and 20 years in Afghanistan.

That'd be over five percent of their total forces in Ukraine.

Of course the point stands, and in fact begs the question if many of the same people are at work in both venues. Rupert Murdoch.

Probably more than 10 percent of their combat arms, at that. A lot of the forces being counted are probably REMFs unless they somehow hired Halliburton. And that doesn't count the injured or POWs.

Putin; " 'Tis but a flesh wound!"

Vlad's going to pound Kyiv to smithereens and won't have anyone left to rule the rubble.

It's over. The Russian military will lay down its arms and quit on Putin in short order.
