Ukraine Always Get What You Want

It's headed in that direction, as long as the Ukrainians keep prosecuting the fight. If Vlad was a rational actor, he'd see this now and cut his losses.

NATO just needs to keep plowing the Ukies with SAMs and sit back and sip tea.

Well, we can hope. It is an extraordinary video. Imagine if Zelensky could be dealing primarily with these guys, and not Putin? What you're suggesting would probably happen.

But as it is, I don't think it'll happen that simply, easily or quickly, if at all. Unfortunately.

Putin is the one who needs to be stopped, targeted, captured, etc. We can only hope that, behind the scenes, perhaps something is going on toward that end.

The Russians can't afford to hold those nuke plants with more than a platoon. I expect a counterattack to be mounted any minute now with nothing more than small arms fire.

I honestly don't know how to phrase this and not sound like a monster, but here it goes:

I doubt the 11K Russian KIA number, but if it's true, good.
There could be 11K combined KIA, casualties, surrenders, defections, whatever, and the net result is the same. Either way, from the bottom of an old Cold War vet's heart, fuck the Russians.

 

Again, I wouldn't trust a single number coming out of Ukraine right now.
