Why do an oral history of something everyone remembers? There ain’t much history there.

    That Trump speech was nuts.

I felt similarly when I heard Langhorne Slim had put out a pandemic-themed double album.

I listened to it, and it’s fine, but I’m not quite at the point yet where I want to listen to songs about how awful it was.

One of the wildest days ever. 9:06 a.m. PT still gets me.

I had forgotten the Big East deciding to play out the first half of St. John’s-Creighton and then fans booing when it was called at the half.

    March 13
2:55pm PT ish: I tell a student if she turns in her project after we come back from shutting down for three weeks, she will not be assessed a late penalty because I told her earlier in the week she could finish it over the weekend.

That project was never turned in. I never graded the ones that were.

When they canceled South by Southwest on March 6 was the big signal for me.

Ivy League canceling ahead of everyone else was the canary in the coal mine that no one listened to.

When Gobert tested positive, I think things happened very quickly from there. We went from no fans to no games real fast.

Everyone else’s attitude of “What do Ivy League medical schools know?” was a real harbinger of the general public’s attitude towards medical advice, too.
