So … he’s gonna win, probably.

NASCAR did that just to keep Larson from lapping the field.

The correlation between having your crew chief kicked out of the garage and then that team winning the race is impressive.

But will the car run if they don't have an invocation before the race?

I did not watch today’s race. I listened on the radio and then to the first few callers on the XM post-race. Everyone sounded like their Viagra was still working six hours later. Did any of y’all watch? Was it anywhere near as good as the SMI fanbois say it was?

I watched parts of it and will watch all of it when it hits YouTube on Tuesday. What I saw looked awesome.

For all the kvetching about repaving Atlanta, SMI finally did one right. I didn't see much more than the first few laps, but the racing was tight and apparently lots of stuff got torn up. Plus, Goodyear had to explain why their tires suck. Must have been a decent show, based on the responses I heard around the park last night.

The fact that they can’t get inner liners in the tires, leading to like nine-lap cautions while they bring out a wrecker when a guy used to be able to limp to the pits, is bad.

I honestly thought the upcoming dirt night race at Bristol was on Saturday until I heard the date the other day and realized it's Easter Sunday.
They are racing on Easter and having a race on Sunday that begins at 7 p.m.
Has NASCAR just punted on having people in the stands and setting for TV audiences?
Most of the races are 3 or 3:30 starts. The All-Star race begins at 8 p.m. on a Sunday.
