FYI: I've got 9 keeper lists. Mine will be 10, so two more need to send them in by 9 p.m. Eastern. You may still revise yours right up to the deadline. Be sure to send me any revisions. Once I have them all and include the round attached to each player kept, I will share a complete list with you all. I will at least get that far at some point tonight. I'm not sure if I will have time to set the draft order and input the keepers until later this weekend.

 

Update: I have all but one keeper list. If you haven't sent me one yet, please do so by 9 p.m. EST.

Thanks. I think that is what I already had for you. Since I don't have a commissioner to send mine to, here is my list for all to see. I may still revise one spot by the deadline, but I wanted to get something posted just in case.

By the way, I'm in another league that has owners surrender picks in the 12th round if they keep someone who is undrafted. If they keep more, it moves up for each one. I don't think we should go that high, but may be worth considering raising the price on undrafted players.

 

Something else we should discuss is a set penalty if someone does not meet the keeper deadline. Perhaps they lose a roster spot? I would hate to do that, but deadlines are deadlines.

And yes, I'm still missing one keeper list.

I just have to figure out what to do about the one list I'm missing.

We really do need a rule going forward. Which is a better idea for a penalty for missing the keeper deadline?

Option 1: The person loses a keeper spot. Then they lose another for every 6 hours they are late? Option 2: The person loses their first-round draft pick. They lose another draft pick every 12 hours they are late.

We should have had a rule in place for these occasions. My bad.

 

It’s simple, if you don’t get your keepers in by the deadline, you don’t get any keepers.
Most of us are or were journalists. If we didn’t get our articles in on time, they didn’t get in the paper.

 

I don't mind that at all, OOP has certainly given plenty of notice, both here and on the league site of the keeper deadline. (I see mine in Draft Results, BTW.)

 

I didn’t even have access to my keepers. I still got them done. Unless there’s a pretty valid excuse, do what you need to do.
