That is total bullshit. If she was qualified for the last job he voted to approve her for, she’s qualified for this one. He doesn’t need Trump’s base.

“Tight” vote? Of course it is. In the end, she only needs 2 votes at most. And the Trumpists can pound sand on this one.
They’re still boiling about how their boy Beer Bong Brett was treated. Spare me. He’s a walking conflict of interest. Magically, his $20,000 in unpaid season ticket charges to the Washington Baseball Team were forgiven. Wonder why. Fuck him and his despicable team. Both in politics and baseball.

Then the cocksucker will win in 2024. And the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves.

Hey, fuck that. The Nationals have no control over who decides to root for them. It's not like the Nats stole signs or anything.

They do have control, however, over whether they bribe or otherwise curry improper favor with members of the federal judiciary. Might be nice if they tell us how or if the outstanding ticket balance was resolved.
I will add that I was pleased that WBT fans booed Trump during their postseason run a couple of years back.

Yes - right. She was only nominated because she is a black woman. Of course the graph is selective in its criteria. There are no boxes for being Catholic or a member of the Federalist Society. I do hope someone asks her about some of the historical mock trials she's presided over - including ones put on by a Shakespeare group and one deciding if Aaron Burr was murdered.

Seriously, that chart does cherry pick her specific experience. Of course she has all yellow boxes. The criteria are. ... her resume.

If you put in experience as a state's attorney Alito would have a yellow box and she wouldn't. Or if you put in prosecuting criminal cases in a large city, Sotomayor would have a box that she doesn't. Or if you added experience teaching constitutional law @ a law school, Amy Coney Barrett would have a yellow box and she wouldn't. I'm sure you can go through each of their resumes and create a chart that is taylored to that specific justice.

FWIW, she was nominated because she was a black woman. Biden announced that he was going to choose only a black woman for the seat.

The unfortunate part of that is that it saddles her with the "got it because she is a black woman," label. I think he did her a severe injustice.

If he hadn't used the seat as a pandering opportunity, when the time came he could have simply nominated her as the person he thought was the best candidate and let her credentials speak for themselves.
