Joe Biden has a low approval rating?

I'm shocked.

 

The tenet that this country was founded on was rich guys in the northeast crying about paying taxes to cover expenses incurred during the French & Indian War to expand colonial territory and then to keep those borders secure.

 

His approval on handling the pandemic is pretty high.

But we'll see - maybe, by summer, the approval ratings go up because COVID isn't as big of a deal.

To the extent the pandemic detonated the entire economy, they're inseparable.

Inflation is part of that, too.

 

So what is the Republicans' plan to fight inflation? Or deal with Ukraine? High gas prices? The list goes on. It appears it's like their health care plan - they don't have any answers except to oppose whatever the Democrats are doing.

 

The midterms are always only about how people rate the President. No other issue. But then, as Reagan, Clinton, Obama and even Trump to an extent showed, when the next election rolls around, people judge the President against a real opponent, not against the idea he should be Gandalf the Gray in a business suit.
