The New York Times warned us about this just the other day.

The big winner last night was Vlad Putin - he's been dethroned as the "Worst Thing in the World." Kinda feel bad for Smith. The way you handle things is you win the award - call out the remark in your speech, make Rock feel small - instead, he overshadowed his own win. Nice attempt at a save by his publicist with the acceptance speech I guess. Supposedly the show producer came over during a break and talked to Smith - for some reason I think it was less "don't do that again" and more "would you like some ice for your hand?" Whatever you do, don't leave!! Please!!" It is interesting to know the history, but the Smith marriage is one I wish we all could demand privacy from. I'm tired of hearing about it.

I don't know if Maher would approve. It was a pretty pussy slap.

Thanks goodness we don't have to be concerned about bigots jumping on the stereotype of the toxically masculine, undisciplined Black man...oh wait

Will Smith has now fought for your freedom to smack everyone who says things you do not like. Personal comedy is over.

I never would have thought I'd post a Kathy Griffin tweet, but you know, she has a point here.
