I still want somebody to ask Smith why he laughed at the joke before slapping Rock.

OK, I’ll say it: I’m with Will Smith. I’d have hit Rock too. Probably more than once.

So there are two lines to get into Heaven. A sign over one says "Henpecked Husbands" and the other says "Non-henpecked Husbands". Two guys are in that line and one says to the other, "How did you know to stand in this line?"

The other guy says, "My wife told me to."

And the next comedian who goes over some line in Poughkeepsie will get shot and killed on stage.

What’s in it for Chris? The black community is behind Will Smith and against Chris Rock. Why would Chris humiliate himself and let himself be slapped in front of the world for making fun of an actress.

Jada has had an affair with her son’s friend, is she really worthy of defending?

Anyone think Will Smith would say "yeah, that sounds great. Greatest night of my professional life, why not go and overshadow it with a lame gag, some awkward profanity and controversy? "

If it was completely staged, Smith's follow comment would not have been NSFW. They would have wanted it all out there for consumption.

Why would Smith and Rock stage this? What good does it do to them?

My original thought was good for Will Smith for stand up for his wife, but then I thought you can’t just smack somebody for saying something. Because otherwise you end up with a Trump
    Rally.
