I read that and thought, it's a smart way to suggest that Rollins' PPV opponent might be someone other than Cody Rhodes and add a little suspense.

    I’m so over Shane McMahon.

what are the various levels of “crowd still goes apeshit” vs “crowd destroys the non-cody surprise and ruins the rest of the night”

    Some possibilities:
Big pop: Johnny Gargano? Strowman? Samoa Joe? Cena? Undertaker? Cesaro perhaps?

Shits/Ruins: Shane. Elias. Someone from NXT 2.0?

could go either way: Bronn Breaker

I think Ciampa would fit into the Big Pop category, or I hope he would.

Me, too, but I don't see it, especially since I have a sinking suspicion he'll be eating the pin for Tony D'Angelo.

I can't see Ciampa losing to the wrestling Goodfella and then fighting Rollins in a cushy spot on the Mania card.

That, and with NXT going Saturday afternoon and Rollins going Saturday night, I don't see anybody doing a double-dip for practicality's sake.

When it comes down to it, I think it's to a point where it's "Cody or we riot" with any scenario short of someone like the Rock. Can't see any of the releases coming back, Cesaro happened last year and Gargano has made it known that he's enjoying being a dad and even said on Renee's podcast that he's not in wrestling shape right now.

JBL had his cowboy limo, Hangman has his cowboy Tesla. Nice.

Not that AEW needs another Tony/i, but that's a good addition, and I like Storm's Heart-esque theme.

Every time Jeff Hardy does a swanton bomb, I cringe. He's going to either paralyze or kill himself one of these days. He really needs a new finisher.

Finally, Seth fesses up that he will be facing a former AEW legend at WrestleMania!

At this stage of his career, or heck, 10 years ago, he should save it for special matches instead of doing it week by week. It can't feel good.

I also majorly cringe whenever I see Danielson, or anyone else, do a flying headbutt off the top rope. Life hasn't ended well for past stars who've regularly done that move.
