I wonder how it's all going to be stopped.

How I feel when I hear Hillary Clinton telling us how we should conduct Russia policy.

Tying Vietnam in with Ukraine, at least In terms of psychological blows, the Tet Offensive comes to mind. A big defeat politically and militarily for the NVA /VC, but it had far reaching repercussions back in the US.

Getting another source is never a bad thing per se. And some of the reports of Russian reports are inaccurate. It is also in the best interests of the Ukrainians to exaggerate or flat out lie in order to gain additional support from NATO countries.

There are reasons journalism is the first draft of history. But I offer some historical events that were underreported because periodicals were waiting for better sourcing. The Holocaust and Stalin's mass executions of Ukrainians are two examples.

I think the weight of the evidence makes it pretty clear that something horrible happened.

And just like Russia, I'm sure those elections are completely legitimate.

There's a global swell of support for authoritarian regimes.

    Arm yourselves.

Orban has borrowed heavily from the Putin playbook. Has Serbia had a true democratic leader since independence? All I remember there are thugs masquerading as national patriots.

    A Srebrenica moment indeed. Sickening.

There will be more, and NATO will have no choice very soon but to get off its duff.

Using white phosporus on civilians is a war crime. Using cluster munitions on civilians is a war crime. Rape is a war crime. Torture is a war crime.

The whole fucking invasion has been a war crime.

We could have prevented a lot of this.

Oh well. Maybe we'll tighten some sanctions.
