I was happy for that result. Lashley isn't my favorite wrestler or anything, but I really didn't want to see him job to Omos.

 

Slightly off-topic, but is any city in the country more disrespected than Arlington, Texas?
There are 400,000 people that live there, one of the biggest stadiums in the country is there, the city has hosted two Wrestlemanias, a Super Bowl, a Final Four and three World Series, and everybody insists on saying they're in Dallas when they're standing smack dab in the middle of Arlington.

 

Who had Sami Zayn body-slammed by a midget in the pool?

 

I wonder how many people in that stadium think they're seeing Hornswoggle in the ring now?

 

That was a serviceable "match," though some of the stunts and props didn't really hit all the way.

I'd be all about Wee Man vs. Hornswoggle in WeeLC II.

 

It wouldn’t have made sense, but I was hoping Hornswoggle would come out from under the ring next.

I was sports entertained, and Zayn deserves the Cy Young to Owens’ MVP award for their performances.

 

It was way better than it had any right to be, that's for sure. For what amounted to the card's comedy match it worked very well. Might have even been better than a lot of the silly gimmick hardcore matches they've had over the years. Whatever you think of Johnny Knoxville, the guy is a professional bumper and he didn't seem to back down from taking his share of them.
One thing that bothered me, though. Sami getting freaked out by a guy in his underwear, when he works with guys in their underwear on a daily basis, might have made less sense than a giant mousetrap being used as a finishing move.

 

Why the bloody hell do they keep wasting time by replaying yesterday's finishes? Are they trying to find an excuse to cancel the New Day's match again?

 

Wonder if the Sasha/Naomi win sets a stage for Bayley’s return

 

So I guess we get a New Brood-esque faction now?
