I'm glad they pointed out who he is, because I did not recognize him at all. I was thinking he kind of looked like Bret Hart, and maybe it was his son or something who got called up from NXT.

And an NXT championship match in Raw? I like me some Bron, but this is kinda weird.

 

Ugh. I guess it's a fresh take, but stop trying to make Omos happen.

 

I wonder how quickly WWE fans will turn on Cody like AEW fans did.

 

I didn’t recognize him either. I thought he was some generic jobber with a decent body who Owens was going to stun.

 

At least they somewhat explained why MVP wasn’t there last night.

 

I think what will help is there are more checks and balances in the WWE storymaking process than there was in some of Cody's more cringey AEW storylines he mostly spearheaded (the mess with Ogogo, some of the stuff with Black).
