Has anyone seen my polling in that race? Does her opponent have any shot? At all?

Actually, I was thinking emotionally and not practically. If the three of those Senators went to McConnell and said, "shut that stupid bitch up for keeps or we leave the caucus and you can guess how we'll vote from now on," Greene would be resigning for "health reasons" within 72 hours. But Romney's too conventional and the other two too chickenshit for that to happen.

Does she even have an opponent? She is, unfortunately, quite representative of the district she represents.

IANAL but the 3 are public figures as MOCs, which provides a fig leaf against defamation litigation.

Members of Congress are protected in what they say AS MEMBERS, on the floor or in committee hearings that are published in the Congressional Record. They have no such protection for mouthing off in public, live or through social media.

You might be right, but the public figure defense outside of that is still in play.

If we could harness the energy of GOP hypocrisy, we'd solve the energy crisis.

No Republican representing that district has ever gotten less than 70 percent of the vote, and despite some intriguing opponents, there's no way the 14th flips. But Greene's got to fight a lawsuit threatening her eligibility, which is sweet irony. The Constitution giveth, and the Constitution taketh away.

Greene sues to stop challenge to her reelection eligibility (yahoo.com)

Again, she was stripped of all her committee assignments, so she's got nothing to do but be a QAnon See 'N Say. Pull the string and see what Chatty Maga says next! (My Trump toadie, Andrew Clyde, is basically a male MTG without the sound bites.)

I'm certain the GOP, both in D.C. and Atlanta, is basically putting up with her crap because they know she's hot air in a skin bag, distracts the media from the actual Republican strategy, and the 14th is dead red. Why would Georgia Republicans waste their campaign money in Rome or Dalton when they're trying to keep the governor red and win back at least one senate seat?
