Looks like the stunt crew for Planet of the Apes.

I'm laughing. We had a "Who's On First" moment recently.
At a concert, the warmup band covered a song. My friends whispers, which band played this?
    Me: "The Band."
Him: "Yeah, the band that played this?"
    Me: "The Band."
    Him: "Which band?"

    .... and so on ....

His finest hour - or three minutes or whatever. This version - very similar to the one on Dig The New Breed - is outstanding. Weller wrote so many great songs, stuff like Town Called Malice, To Be Someone, Eton Rifles, Down In the Tube Station at Midnight, Absolute Beginners, Beat Surrender....God, I could go on.....

This version is much better than the one on "Snap."

I'm still gutted that Weller pulled the plug on The Jam a year early. They were right on the cusp of a U.S. breakout. Reckon he'd like a do-over.

Going on 5 years since the last Arcade Fire album release. The industry has moved on.

My unpopular opinion: this is only about my fifth favorite jam song. Prefer Going Underground, Town Called Malice, eton rifles and in the city.

I don't pretend to know The Jam's canon but Town Called Malice is about as perfect a song as there ever was.

I don’t know that he cares, oddly. I can’t think of a significant artist who has made less of an effort to break the U.S. market. It’s strange. Weller should be big here.

I’ll go with Town Called Malice, Ghosts, Bitterest Pill, and Man in the Corner Shop before That’s Entertainment.
