How’s Mike Richards holding up nowadays? His face is still punchable, I bet.

 

And yet, I was in disbelief recently while watching him on "The Chase." He got wrong a question about the total-dollar value of a standard roll of dimes. I was literally in shock that he would not have known that. It goes to show how, on these shows, sure, the questions are easy if you know the answers. Not so much, if you don't.

 

I’m inclined to cut them some slack. It looked like two of the panelists were younger, and it’s been more than 30 years since Bo was at his peak. Hey, we’re old(ish).

 

Jackie (left) was in her 40s, and one of the favorite contestants of my wife and I in a while. Just completely emotionless as she told stories and went all-in on some Daily Doubles. Unfortunately, her reign ended after 4 games, I believe, but she racked up about $100k.

Ha, my wife and I enjoy her running commentary. She's no stone cold killer like Jackie, but still.

 

We enjoy mocking her running commentary. It's her little squint and questioning tone at the end of every answer while poo-pooing the whole interaction with her left hand. Just, ugh.

 

My wife and I also disagree on this champ. I like the winners with a bit of personality, like this woman. My wife is annoyed by her little comments and hand gestures.

 

Very few champions improve over the course of their term. The only one I can think of is Matt Amodio. He came back from the summer break with a makeover and a bit more self-assurance. How often do you have champs that carry over, though?

 

One of my former co-workers from Lynchburg will be on Friday night's show. Excited to see how she performs.

 

Not this it matters, but Mattea came back for her second week showing off her arm / wrist tats, and with her nose ring in. She kind of has a Punk Nun aesthetic going on that's entertaining as well.
