Of course it is. No one is testing and if they’re testing at home they’re not reporting it. Boost boost boost fam.

When it flew through our house in January, the county health department counted our home tests as positives. That said, I'm pretty sure contact tracing and other ways to keep track are a thing of the past now. So most wouldn't even need to report. I don't know if health organizations are still asking you to report or not, but it wouldn't seem like it is a priority any more.

I know 10 people with Covid right now. (All are vaxxed and boosted once.) They range from having very mild cases to one going on 10 days at home, still feeling like shit, not able to work but not needing to go to the hospital either. All tested positive on home tests. None reported their positives to anyone. So as far as the official numbers go, they don’t have Covid.

Our school gave the kids take-home tests right before spring break. We’ll see how that goes.

    Vaxxed?

We had our condo association meeting last night at the hall down the street. Probably 30 people there, the majority 60 and older. One person wore a mask.

Doctor told me to wait three months after treatment before getting the booster. That would be mid-May. Just to be safe, will probably wait until after Memorial Day.

First really nice day of the year in New York. People were out in force to enjoy the weather. Masks outside are down to about 20 percent in my estimation. Inside it's close to 60-40 for wearing masks. Maybe 50-50. Cases are up, but vaccination rate is very high here.

I still throw mine on to run into a store out of force of habit. But I don't care if others don't, and sometimes I forget. Hoping this little uptick is nothing and we kinda have a normal summer.

Not quite eligible for second booster. But want to get it closer to a summer trip to Europe anyway. Hoping they drop the test mandate to get back into the country by then. Don't know how likely that is.

Was in New York two weekends ago. Friday night we went to American Utopia, the David Lynch show, and both proof of vaccination needed to get in and masks required inside theater. Restaurant before and bar after show required vaccination proof. That's Broadway. Was in Brooklyn with my son and his wife next night. Dive bar and then Korean restaurant were both jammed, no masks, no vaccination proof asked for. Of course, average age in those two places was like 32, whereas the night before it was somewhat higher -- by a lot.
