The county budget says tourism accounts for $75 billion in economic activity. Could the county add a half-cent hotel tax or some such to make up for the shortfall? The Governor gets to rally the base and the county lessens the tax increase. And it’s paid for by tourists, who are going to go to Disney no matter what.
