Now, I gotta get back to stealing elections for GOP candidates.

 

It's still out there. Probably close to time for the other shoe to drop. I'm wondering if there is some coordination with DOJ but I think that all of Gaetz's charges are at the state level. So far anyhow.

I don’t think those critiques are nearly as damaging as others on the list. To answer your latest question, I don’t think the autocrat’s playbook is to subvert one or two elements of society. What makes somebody an autocrat rather than another self-absorbed politician is the willingness and ability to eradicate them all. Trump is heading that way.

It seems like everybody loses. Things become more difficult for the park, but the taxpayers have to take on more of the financial burden. The more I read about this, the more it is clear that DeSantis and company are taking the stupid route again.

 

Exactly. I think that exemption should have been gone a long time ago, but it would do serious political damage to Democrats. Better to leave it in place and use DeSantis's stupidity against him.
