Is it my imagination or do nba games have less time outs at the end of games?

More coaches letting the teams play instead of endless TOs.

Yeah, that was big. There's a weird "oh, woe is us" vibe to a lot of Suns fans and going down 2-1 would have been kind of insufferable around here.

Youth and inexperience is a problem for the Pelicans. They need a veteran in the locker room to club Jaxson Hayes like a harp seal for that moronic foul on Crowder but I don't know that they have that guy. I don't think McCollum is it.

That last possession from the Mavs was painful, top to bottom.

I really don't understand running down the clock so you can take a bad, contested three at the buzzer, but I see it all the time.

Amen. Jimmy Butler did it four times in one minute last night.

Starting with the fact -- why didn't they move the ball to the front court?

Apparently Jason Kidd likes to have them take it out from the baseline. Terrible decision - they didn’t have time for that. I don’t get it. And it looked like it never occurred to anyone that Utah would double Luka when he got the ball.

Wasted half the possession to move the ball up. Move it to the frontcourt and have multiple options.

Exactly. Down one and they’re stuck with a bad three attempt. Makes no sense.

Though as a Suns fan, yes, let's let that series go the distance.

Who had the Nets as an also ran in the playoffs?

They have to consider hiring an actual coach this off-season.

The Nets look like they work their asses off every possession to end up with a bad, contested turnaround jumper. Then the Celtics get a layup on the other end.

I have no explanation for how the score was that close.
