I'm not exactly sure what your issue is, but I don't care. So, there's that. But you kind of act like I made up this whole thing about churches and taxes when obviously I didn't.

We all know that there are religious leaders enjoying their tax exemptions and politicking. That is not up for debate.

I am free to think that churches should stay out of politics. Ergo, I will keep my government out of your church if you keep your church out of my government. That's not a complicated thought.

I am also free to think that a government entity, be it state local or federal, passing a law to punish a single entity, be it a person or a corporation or some other thing, is fundamentally anti-democratic and pro-authoritarian. It is tyranny.

If you think those are the same things, okay. They are not.

Go pick on someone who might care that you're picking on them.

You are absolutely free to think that churches should stay out of politics, and therefore you would be absolutely OK with government punishing those churches who don't stay sufficiently (to your taste) out of politics. Which is exactly how the state of Florida is (ostensibly ... as I suggested in my original post, we shall see) treating Disney.
