    It's absolutely a windfall, and it will be a winning issue for Republicans who critique it - even the ones who happily (and hypocritically) get their loans forgiven.

    Hell, tie it to working elections, cleaning up after storms, or some other civil service. Get some kind of trade-off.

    I'm sure you're right, it's easy to demagogue this stuff - elites! the rich! (are they really the ones taking out these loans?) - but as Hermes pointed out
