Suns had a little inspiration for Game 6

Scott Foster is the lead referee tonight in Minneapolis.

Take the over. Take the Wolves. See you in Memphis for Sunday.

Thinking to the Jokic and Embiid discussion for MVP and Rd 1 performances (which are irrelevant to the actual vote), man Jokic has to be MVP. Embiid is a monster, the variety of scoring is unreal. But....

What Jokic does, just beasting smaller players over and over around the rim, then the feathery touch in midrange and out to 3 land is un-matched. Every other big in the league should take notes and follow suit. Yes KAT, I'm looking at you. You have a mismatch, catch in the paint and do something offensive. Don't just pound the rock and wait for some double team that never materializes. Catch with a purpose and score. In those 5 games, Jokic just torched dudes, even one of the greatest defenders ever, Draymond Green, at times. It was at the end, play good position D and hope he misses or make him pass to a lesser player.

Agree with all of that -- and add in that he's absolutely one of the best passers in the league. Just astonishing vision.

Add that at end of the series, great to read the mutual respect between Jokic and Green about how they pushed each other.

Plus Jokic is a flabby white dude, so I can relate...

25 yrs ago saw some tall flabby white dude with a “natural” playing at my gym and thought “who’s that dude?” then saw him finish around the rim and said “that dude knows how to play”.

Buddy later told me “ that dude is Kenny Dennard” , 10 yr NBA dude.

Don’t judge Book by the cover.

It happened when there were four minutes left and the Sixers were up by 29.

Why the hell is Embiid playing then? He's already injured!

I don't think Jokic is just one of the the best passers in the league. I think he's the best passer in the game today, and of his generation.

And I think he may even be more than that. He may be the best big-man passer...ever.

    That sucks.

I don’t get the “why was he playing” injury avoidance. You can get injured at any point in time; it’s entirely random. Sometimes it’s an accumulation of wear and tear; other times it’s simply out of your control.

His passing reminds me of Arvydas Sabonis, another big guy with great vision. The big difference is that Sabonis was physically done by the time he got to the NBA - the rest of Jokic’s game is light years ahead of the Sabonis we got here.
