Being a fan of this team is so fucking exhausting.

I sometimes read threads from bottom. I briefly thought Sabonis died recently and I missed that news before I got to UNC’s posts.

That win shows how mentally tough the Ws are. Gm 1 on road. Nails.

On the road, trailing without the ball in the final minute AND no Draymond.

Thank you hybrid work schedule, I got to watch the entire Suns-Mavs game last night and get reasonable sleep. Luka was out of this world, the Mavs hit 16 3s and the Suns still won pretty darn comfortably. I don't know how the Mavs are going to defend Ayton, who actually had a relatively (for him) poor shooting night (12-for-20, he's shooting 68 percent overall in the postseason). Suns didn't miss a free throw and outrebounded Dallas by 15. Sure, I'm looking through fanboi glasses, but I'm not sure Dallas can win more than one game here. The test against the Pelicans will prove fruitful in the long run for Phoenix.

Russillo looked at the guys who led the league in usage rate for around the past 20 years, and it's more disappointing than you'd think. Iverson is the only one who made the finals, and after that, Harden made the conference finals one year. Outside of that, it's disappointing finishes or teams that don't make the playoffs (i.e. unconscionable gunners on bad teams).

Bringing it up because Luka led the league this year. I still don't know if it's team composition, since he's never played with another legitimate all-star, thanks to the non-development of Porzingus. But pretty much every playoff teams is good, and if 37.3 percent of your possessions end with Luka taking a shot, they're going to make sure they're as difficult as possible for him.

It was nice watching Grayson Allen get put on the ground. Hope he gets kicked in the nuts.

Even here in my Sunday night run at the local school, we know you don’t try to run down someone from behind, it’s too risky. That was a dirty play. Warriors had 18 TOs; way too many.

Yeah, that was super dangerous. If you are going to try to make a block like that, you have to get the ball at the apex and not make any contact with the body. Watching the replay, he must have been slightly off balance because he was never going to get the ball based on that jump.

I don't think he intended to hurt Peyton, but there was no intent to stop the ball. He wanted to commit a hard foul. It was a dirty play. My visceral reaction is Brooks needs to sit for Game 3, but I don't know if the league will want to go there. However, given now we've had two Flagrant 2 ejections on hard fouls, they might want to send a message to get this cleaned up.
