No one needs to go to placate the Trumpers. Trump is not in office.

 

That is a truly unusual circumstance, although I wonder if more similar-type interactions have, perhaps, occurred in Ukraine. At that level, and in that kind of proximity, that seems doubtful. But it'd be wonderful, and, as the article suggests, might provide a path to ending the war if it occurred on a larger, wider scale.

It seems to me the Horbonoses are just fortunate not to have been killed. To have started a dialogue, and to have kept it going, actually fostering it and fully engaging in it? Amazing.

They'd have made good journalists.
