How many more billions are we going to give Ukraine for the war effort? Is it like everything else, where we just kept printing money?

 

It's a helluva lot cheaper than loading up our troops and heading there. Look on the bright side, we're down to just one war at a time.

There were a lot of people who held similar views with regard to sending ships and munitions to England during Lend-Lease. The strategy is to punish Russia to the point of breaking their ability to replace their losses, because the various NATO states can afford it far better than they can. At some point all those billions and trillions of dollars that Putin and his circle of oligarchs have stolen are going to be badly missed.
