    Brooks was manic from the start. Offensively, his decisions and shots were out of control, even by his standards. He may have just been too amped up, but it was clear he was losing his mind.

    Ja went for 47-8-8 and 3 blocks (or maybe it was steals). Memphis ties it 1-1 going back to San Fran.

    Payton and Brooks had some history as college players. They did not like each other then.

    Brooks also has the most hilarious flop in Pac-12 history.

    So Payton II is out for at least 3 weeks due to a dirty, totally avoidable play. I am trying to remember anything similar in NBA playoff history and cannot (I know in hockey its happened). Sucks for him, the Ws and so wrong.
