Is there any way to get Rush de-halled?

Make them have to go thru the process again?

Those were the best of sj.com times.

If one song gets a band in Golden Earring should be in for When the Bullet Hits the Bone.

I'm listening to it as I type.

    Just wanted to share.

Ringo's line in Badge should get him in as a solo act.

Man, EC can go fuck himself, but I like this song.

I didn't say shit about musical tastes.

The people who decide who gets in view them as lacking artistic merit. That's why they're not getting in.

That's awesome that they can still pull crowds on the main stage at Corn Shuckin' Daze. Good for them.

Bill Wyman (the music journalist, not the Stones bassist) has written extensively and critically about the HOF, mainly in the form of rankings (members, each year's nominees, etc.) But it goes far beyond the clickbait you'd expect from such lists, and gets deep into the way things work there. Here's his ranking of all 221 members as of 2018. I find it endlessly fascinating:

You can find more of Wyman's HOF rankings -- he's also ranked all the songs produced by the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin -- at Vulture, though it's paywalled (the above link is a copy-and-paste job from a Fleetwood Mac message board).

I have to say, at a quick glance that ranking is solid as hell. I have quibbles here and there but that's really well done.

The 1-Hit Wonder wing of the RaRHOF would be worth the price of admission.

There shouldn’t be a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I’d like to hear the reasoning behind the idea that Weird Al shouldn’t be in the Hall, because I completely disagree.

I don't understand that either. So, are those two acts getting in through something like the Veterans Committee of the RRHOF?
