    Spooge!
Gotta love the little fan service cameos on this show.

Without giving too much away (I hope), I thought the scene in this most recent episode involving two characters who hadn't shared a scene previously was one of the best in the series.

Yep. Guys, spoilers are fine on this thread. It's in the title. I've been behind on watching because of all of the NHL/NBA playoff games, but I caught up last night. That scene was tremendous. For a second, I thought one of the two dudes in the car trailing Kim was Noho Hank from Barry, but he is not, according to IMDB.

Rhea Seehorn, who aptly directed this one in her directorial debut, really sells the paranoia Kim’s starting to feel. I wonder if psychological breakdown, rather than demise at the hands of the cartel, comes into play by the time the Breaking Bad timeline snaps into place.

Comparing the one-note, flat writing for Skylar White to the fully formed Kim is quite a welcome jump.

I think Gilligan and Gould didn't like the response Skylar received, and consciously made that decision to make Kim more well-rounded. It also probably helps that there are at least six different women with writing credits on various Saul episodes, vs. two for Breaking Bad (three, if you count a "one and done" writer).

I predict Lalo kills Kim. Just a hunch.

You and I must be sharing the same brain. That was my thought after the Mike and Kim scene in the last episode.

Yep. Mike will protect her about as well as he did Nacho and the German.

I think Kim is made of sturdier stuff than Jimmy. I think there's a non-zero chance she arms herself and shoots Lalo, but GTFO from New Mexico as a result. I think there's a reason beyond "she's dead" as to why Kim wasn't in Breaking Bad or in any of the Saul Future scenes.

I am still clinging to the hope that Kim comes and rescues him from the Cinnabon (although I'm slightly concerned that the Cinnabon hasn't show up at all this season).

I’ve wondered if you couldn’t write around those Cinnabon scenes. Maybe as Saul, that bag of money in hand waiting for that mini van by the highway, musing about what his life would be like if he did use Robert Forster to disappear and he in the end decides it’d be better to either turn himself in or off himself.
