I remember his Topps cards always listed his hometown as Galt, Ontario. As a kid, I must have found the word Galt fascinating for some reason.

Galt doesn't really exist anymore, it was swallowed up by Cambridge. Home to one of the oldest continuously operating hockey rinks in the world. Schoenfeld probably played loads of games here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galt_Arena_Gardens

Swallowed up by Cambridge along with Preston and Hespeler, home of the old stick brand.

Watching it on tv just isn’t the same without Doc Emrick.

Pens just jumped on the Rangers with two goals in 24 seconds for a 3-1 lead. Rangers were really on their heels for a bit. The second goal was terrible defense by Fox, who let Guentzel just slide right behind him to the far post for an easy one-timer (from Crosby, I think).

This has got to be the highest-scoring first round of the Bettman era.

If Mojo elevates the puck after that killer saucer pass…

if Hathaway doesn’t hit the post in the empty netter…

if the Caps don’t have the worst two people possible sprung for breakaways out of the box (Schultz and Fehervary)…

    if if if
