Yup. The difference in experience really showed in the last two games.

Penguins fans are certainly enjoying chanting "Igor." Chris Kreider said after Game 3 that they would probably regret it.

"Chanting Igor's name may have been a mistake on their part, we'll see," Kreider said. "I wouldn't poke an angry dog. My guess is that will come back to bite them in the a** very soon."

Boy, did he ever read that wrong. They were still chanting "Igor" long after he had been pulled for the second consecutive game. One of the broadcasters mentioned that he hadn't given up four goals in a game all season. Is that right? He gave up four or more in period twice in the last two games. Some of that is the Rangers playing like crap defensively, but he has let in some soft ones, too.

By the way, this is why some Penguins fans dislike Shesterkin. This was at the end of a regular-season victory over the Pens.

Will be fined $5K at the least. Contact looked to be shoulder level at full speed but definitely higher on slo mo.

Tough way to lose. Caps had a million chances to win in regulation, shouldn’t have gone to OT. On to Wednesday.

But was it? I couldn't tell and I'm not exactly unbiased.

That post clang on the empty net will keep me awake, probably forever

If Florida doesn’t have a deep run, I think that would be the likely destination for Trotz. He’s a big name like Quenneville was.

I heard Michael Farber on the radio and he thought Detroit isn’t a fit. Trotz likes to have lots of input, which may have ended him on Long Island.
