That is my fear, that he manipulated her, used her to escape and for "just out of jail" sex, then killed her, took her gun, money, and car, and ran.

 

You just know "the plan" was to take a charter or grab a boat and head to some Caribbean island without extradition treaties and live out a Jimmy Buffett song. Sad truth is - there aren't any. And getting to the South Pacific is a lot tougher.
